AKSHTRONICA- Introduction & Credibility for Thruster controls . AKSHTRONICA is a mumbai based company providing services of CPP / Thrusters / steering controls of offshore vessels for the last 25 years. AKSHTRONICA has a history of varied work experience in Rolls Royce / Ulstein/ Kamewa Controllable Pitch Propulsion & thruster’s controls and can boast of having successfully carried out many upgradation and system improvement projects over the last twenty years. AKSHTRONICA had developed and introduced upgradation of Ulstein CPP / BT control systems by replacing troublesome & expensive Dowty servo valves by cost effective and reliable Pulse control version- 3, since 2006. This upgradation system is approved by IR Class.

AKSHTRONICA has carried out more than 100 such upgradation on ONGC owned vessels (Samudrika & Sindhu series), Tag offshore vessels, Great offshore vessels and some vessels in Africa, UAE etc. When SCI upgraded 10 offshore DP vessels, we did the upgradation of existing CCP /BT / Steering with additional servo controls and logic controls compatible with the KONGSBERG Dynamic Position & Joystick System (DP & JS). This project was under IR class SF/05048/2002020528). We have done 18 such projects in India. We have also designed, manufactured and commissioned many thrusters / steering controls on various type of vessels. Many of these projects were done under IR Class / RINA Class. 1. E-196460-262171 Dated 8th August 2023 ( Project No. MS001872), on vessel SAGAR DEEP II ( Owned by DGLL, GOI ) ULSTEIN Helicon CPP control system with THRUSCON - PPC 100 CPP. 2. E-213382-283124 dated 31/01/2024 Project No. MS002410 on Vessel Greatship Asmi owned by Greatship India Limited. 3. IR/28844/20101110372 dated 08/11/2011 Bow Thruster CPP control panel Darshni Prem ( IR No. 28844) of Mercator International. 4. E-220811-293214 dated 16-April-2024 Replacement of obsolete HRP 4007TT CPP control system electronic module with THRUSCON TTC 300 on GREATSHIP ADITI owned by Greatship India Limited. When the redesigning / retrofitting of control systems is carried out, we maintain existing control logics, operation sequence, field devices and its cabling with the mechanical parts of the original system. Hence, this ensures that the system performance remains unchanged. We are replacing defective or obsolete PCB modules with a new Programmable Fieldbus Controller belonging to the robust WAGO 750 series controller / 750 XTR Controller System, which has most of the marine class approvals. We have developed in-house capabilities to provide complete solutions to the customer, right from system design to building the system to its final commissioning. Most of the products which we have developed are equivalent to replace obsolete systems and spares. From our rich twenty-year experience in various marine controls, AKSHTRONICA can provide replacement of just the specific defective or obsolete modules / components thus optimizing time and cost.
